Registration for the Trusted Economy Forum, Europe's largest conference on electronic trust services, which will be held on 8-9 June in Warsaw, Poland, is now open.
The event will bring together international experts and business practitioners to discuss key issues related to digital transformation, changing business models, cyber security, and future technologies affecting the development of electronic identification services. The Trusted Economy Forum will be held in a hybrid formula, and online participation is free.
The theme of the Trusted Economy Forum will be "Process, signature, identification – the basis for a unified and trusted global economy”. Discussions will take place within 4 thematic blocks: Market transformation in 2021/2022 in eID and trust services: Poland, Europe, the World; Business and partnerships: digital transformation in practice; Cyber security – geopolitics, business, trust; and Customer, technology, products, legislation.
The world is changing before our eyes. As never before, we now need technology that provides us with security first and foremost and at the same time is uniform, universal, cross-border and optimizes processes. That is why, at the Trusted Economy Forum, we will want to look at trust services through the lens of their impact on business building, administrative processes and the digital economy as a whole. Cyber security, the importance of which is even greater in the context of the current geopolitical situation, will be an important topic on the agenda. We will talk about its impact on business, economy, and society. We will also talk about transaction security, considering how systems and processes are built, especially those related to verification of identity in the virtual world. We will also address the issue of secure and optimal information and data management. We want to show the practical side of digital transformation and examples of companies and institutions that have successfully implemented digital solutions, as well as discuss how market dialog, business and public-private partnerships influence its development. We will also consider whether duplication of digital services is possible. An important issue that will be addressed is the European mobile identity wallet, currently one of the main topics being discussed at the European Commission level. It aims to ensure secure and uniform electronic identification across all online services at EU level. We will also go a little bit into the future, that is why the agenda will include the subject of post-quantum technology and its influence on the market of trust services – says Ewelina Chudy, Manager of the Trusted Economy Forum Organization Office.
This year's edition of the conference will be hosted by Michał Kanownik, President of the ZIPSEE “Digital Poland”. During the event Polish and European experts in digitalization and trust services will share their knowledge, including the following: Ricardo Gengini from ETSI ESI, an international organization that supports European regulations and initiatives on the digital economy and develops standardization documents, Prof. Kai Rannenberg from Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main, Evgenia Nikolouzou from ENISA, the EU agency responsible for ensuring high and effective security levels in networks and information systems, as well as Izabela Albrycht, a member of the Security and Defense Council (in Polish: Rada ds. Bezpieczeństwa i Obronności) of the National Development Council at the President of Poland and NATO Advisory Group on Emerging and Disruptive Technologies. Also the following will discuss practical aspects of digital economy: Paweł Baranowski from Polkomtel, Krzysztof Polcyn from Europejski Fundusz Leasingowy and Magdalena Reimann and Mariusz Włodarczyk from Santander Leasing Poland.
