For more than 30 years Poland has been attracting foreign investors, who value our highly qualified employees, large domestic market and appealing geographical location. In fact, at the end of 2019, Poland’s liabilities under foreign direct investments (FDI) amounted to EUR 209.5 billion. 


Foreign investors’ capital and activity have played a significant role in helping Poland to remain the only country in the region to experience continuous GDP growth over the past three decades, even during the previous global crisis. Over the last decade (2009-2019), Polish GDP grew by 3.6% per year on average. Despite the fact that in 2020 Polish  economy suffered its first recession after 1991, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, forecasts indicate that GDP for the entire 2020 may be at a higher level than in most EU countries.
