PHIG and Xanadu Gallery invites you to the opening of exhibition of Anna Nosowicz Ruiz titled “Spanish Light”, which will take place on Wednesday September 13th 2017 at 6 p.m.–9 p.m. in Xanadu’s headquarters at 51 Hoża Street in Warsaw.

Polish-Spanish Chamber of Commerce is the honorary patron of the event. Partners: Artinfo.pl, OneBid, Wnętrza 3D, Cuisine Chic Catering, Chivas.

On the exhibition there will be presented works that will come straight from Spain, where the artists lives and works. It is an extraordinary energetic painting, full of colours reflecting southern warmth and spirit. Spanish light has a huge impact on the artist's latest work – she has brightened the palette, selecting more contrasting colours and less obvious combinations. Abstractions of Anna Nosowicz Ruiz are not only full of colour, but also contrasts that come from the clashes of bold, expressive brush strokes with geometric motifs and big monochromatic surfaces. The artist is basing mostly on her intuition, translating freely her impressions and experiences on the language of painting. She does that very skillfully, using rich painting workshop, which she meticulously put together at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław and developed during artistic residencies in Spain.

The exhibition will be open until September 30th 2017 from Monday to Friday at 12 p.m.–7 p.m. and on Saturdays at 11 a.m.–4 p.m.
