At the beginning of this year Arkadiusz Krasnodębski, partner heading the Energy and Natural Resources group in Poland and Europe, became Managing Partner of Dentons' Warsaw office.  He replaced Tomasz Dąbrowski who started as Dentons Europe CEO in January.

Arkadiusz Krasnodębski is a legal advisor heading Dentons energy practice group in Poland and Europe. He has been with the firm since 2001. He advises entities from the energy and utilities sector in regulatory as well as contract and corporate matters. Within the scope of his professional practice he has participated in some of the most innovative transactions in the Polish energy sector. He advised, among others, on the acquisition of the Polish-Lithuanian energy link (LitPol Link), a pioneering power interconnection between UCTE and the Baltic states, as well as on the acquisition of the SwePol Link between Poland and Sweden. He also participated in a project to construct two new power units in Elektrownia Opole (power plant in Opole) worth PLN 9 billion net. This is now the largest investment in new conventional production capacities in Poland. He also represented the State Treasury in the privatization of Grupa Kapitałowa Energa S.A.

He is a recognized expert in energy and natural resources law. For years he has been a top ranked specialist in the “Energy law” category. Likewise in international legal rankings, including Chambers Europe 2013, The Legal 500 EMEA 2013 and PLC Which Lawyer? 2012, he has been for years mentioned as the leader in energy and natural resources law in Poland. In the latest edition of  Best Lawyers in Poland he was hailed “Lawyer of the Year” in the “Energy Sector” category.
