» CMS advises GREYKITE on the debut acquisition of a logistics portfolio
CMS has advised GREYKITE on the acquisition of a major logistics portfolio in Poland. The portfolio represents the first phase of an investment in a new joint venture between GREYKITE and White Star Real Estate with a total value of EUR 300m.
The portfolio comprises three logistics parks with a total leasable area of 142,000 sq. m., located in Warsaw, Stryków and Gliwice. The warehouses are in well-developed industrial and logistics areas, close to important transport hubs in Poland. The properties are almost fully leased and have a diversified and stable income profile with more than 40 tenants.
Dominik Rafałko, partner in the Real Estate and Construction practice who supervised the transaction, commented: “GREYKITE's debut investment in the Polish market is an exceptional transaction, particularly from the standpoint of legal advice. It’s rare to encounter such a complex and non-standard project that requires the collaboration of multidisciplinary legal teams and international advisors. We are thrilled to have had the opportunity to support GREYKITE in executing this ambitious venture, providing legal and business solutions specifically designed to address the complexities of the transaction and the unique needs of our client. I am also pleased to see that the Polish market continues to attract new investors and offers exciting opportunities for their growth.”
The multidisciplinary CMS team was supervised by Dominik Rafałko, partner in the Real Estate and Construction practice, and the project was led by Katarzyna Szostak, supported by Zuzanna Bafia, Mateusz Rojek, Michał Gruza, Maciej Liberacki, Anna Mikołajewska-Jelitto, Marika Brokos, Aleksandra Sadownik, Marta Trębacka and Kamila Świerk (Real Estate and Construction), Mariusz Minkiewicz and Wiktoria Jasik (Dispute Resolution), Agnieszka Starzyńska (Competition), Małgorzata Brauckmann-Sajkiewicz (Tax), Dominika Pietkun and Karolina Kosińska (Corporate and M&A), Dominika Tyc (IP/TMT) and Laura Pytlińska (Energy and Infrastructure).
