Rohlig SUUS Logistics offers the Customs Control Tower service, providing a one-stop shop for comprehensive customs across the globe – both at origin and destination countries. The solution removes the need for clients to manage customs procedures separately in each country, enhancing business efficiency in international trade.
Dagmara Barwa, Deputy Customs Product Director, Rohlig SUUS Logistics, explains: "The import, export or transit of goods involves many complex and time-consuming customs procedures to both origin and destination markets. That is why, at SUUS, we have launched the Customs Control Tower service to increase the efficiency of our customers' international business operations. We provide a single operational contact for end-to-end customs processing in all markets in which a company operates – both within and outside the European Union, including China and the United States. This eliminates the need for our clients to coordinate customs processes in each country individually. It’s an optimal solution for both experienced global players and smaller companies entering international markets".
End-to-end customs services
The largest Polish logistics operator offers customs clearance for road, sea, air, and rail shipments. It provides handling of goods in customs warehouses and temporary storage warehouses Additional offerings include inward processing and temporary import procedures – allowing goods from outside the EU to be brought in without paying duties or VAT. In the former, this enables processing, repair or assembly; in the latter, goods must be re-exported in their original condition.
SUUS also enables cooperation under Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) terms, relieving customers of the need to directly manage customs matters. Holding the AEO-F certificate, the company benefits from all available customs simplifications and security-related facilitations across the supply chain.
A growing customs agency network in CEE
Rohlig SUUS Logistics provides the aforementioned services mainly based on a rapidly growing network of its own customs agencies in Central and Eastern Europe.
