“Investment process in light of environmental and construction laws and regulations”

to be held on September 20th 2012 at Sheraton Hotel in Warsaw, from 9.30 to12.00.

The aim of the seminar is to present the investment process, with particular focus on environmental decisions, including errors in the decision-issuing procedure and the consequences of such errors for planning permissions, building permits, occupancy permits, and remedial measures.

TOPICS DISCUSSED:

• Outline of the investment process, focusing on environmental decision-issuing procedures
• Typical errors in environmental decision-issuing procedures
• Impact of errors on the validity of environmental decisions, planning permission, building permits and occupancy permits
• How to fix errors in environmental decision-issuing procedures
• How to solve legal problems that arise from the fact that environmental decisions were withdrawn from legal circulation, particularly in relation to construction processes (building permits, occupancy permits)

The seminar is aimed especially at persons who: coordinate or implement all sorts of investment projects (e.g. commercial real estate, infrastructure investments, industrial plants and wind farms), are involved in real estate transactions, assess the financial risks of investments or are applying for EU co-funding for investments.
